From Naples to Your Doorstep
The beginnings of 'QuietLanes can be traced back to a modest ambition: sharing the original taste of Neapolitan pizza in Rome. The establishment, initiated by the Bianchi lineage in 1985, was once a quaint local venture that cherished age-old family recipes.
Marco Bianchi, our pioneer, mastered the art of crafting pizzas during her ventures across Italy, particularly studying with renowned pizzaiolos in Naples, where pizza was conceived. Returning to the UK, she aimed to replicate the essence of authentic Italian pizza, adhering to traditional techniques and selecting premium ingredients.
From our beginnings as a homely 12-seat pizzeria, we have transformed into a well-loved culinary destination, yet our dedication to excellence and genuineness remains unchanged. We continue to employ classic wood-fired oven methods, prepare our dough from scratch daily, and seek out the best ingredients available.
'QuietLanes is still a family-run business, with the Bianchi descendants at the helm. While we’ve incorporated some modern touches, the soul of our mission endures - crafting exquisite, genuine pizza that unites people.
